Teresa began her green career as a researcher at the House Energy
Doctor Program at the University of Arizona, working with Tucson home owners to boost the energy-efficiency of their homes. Returning
to Seattle, subsequent adventures included founding the Green Team at NW architecture and planning firm GGLO, green building consulting
work with Paladino & Company, Sustainability Strategic Planning for national and international mixed-use and retail projects as
the Director of Sustainability at Callison Architecture and Planning, and eco outreach and exhibit design as a Principal of Site Story.
Dedicated to furthering sustainability in buildings and beyond, Teresa is a WA Clean Tech Open Sustainability Mentor and a Sustainability Subject Matter Expert for the national Edu-curious Program that matches industry experts with high school teachers for project-based learning. Past volunteer roles include Chair of the Cascadia Green Building Workshop Committee; founder and Chair of the Seattle Energy Design Roundtable; conference organizer with the Seattle AIA Committee on the Environment; and green roof researcher at the NW Eco Building Guild.
